Screen Resolution App Mac
How can I set the screen resolution for a remote desktop session using MacBook Pro and / or an external monitor that both support 4k resolution?
I am logging into a Windows remote desktop session and the resolution is at 720p. When I maximize my remote session, it will only allow it to go up to 1440x900.
I have tried setting my macbook's display resolution to NOT be 'scaled' and that hasn't changed anything.
Higher resolution means more than just a better-quality image. With a Retina 6K display, Pro Display XDR gives you nearly 40 percent more screen real estate than a 5K display. While most displays max out at around 150 pixels per inch (ppi), our Retina display has 218 ppi, providing astoundingly sharp and detailed imagery. An interesting example of this is Apple's iPhone 4 — its screen has a higher resolution (and pixel density, since the screen is the same physical size) than previous models. Apple had to craft bigger icons to keep everything the same apparent size, and screenshots from iPhone 4 are much larger than older models. I had no idea, for example, that my late 2012 Mac Mini could support a 4k display—it now happily runs a 3840x2160 display (at 30Hz via MiniDP) and a 1920x1200 display (at 60Hz via HDMI). I don't see a 'Display' option *anywhere* in the Preferences / Options section for the Citrix client that is installed on my macbook.
