To Bcc someone in Outlook on your computer, you may need to enable the Bcc field in your 'Options' menu. You can Bcc in the Outlook mobile app just by tapping the 'Cc/Bcc' option.

The BCC (blind carbon copy) field allows you to send an email to multiple recipients. However, when using BCC, the primary recipients of the email will be unaware of other recipients you’ve included. Hence, it’s a little more confidential than CC. BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy. Just like how CC works in an email, BCC is used to send a carbon copy of the email to someone. However, unlike CC, there is a major difference in the way BCC works. App Store and Mac App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. And other countries. Clicking on the link will open the new email window using default email client configured on your computer. Generally the email client will be Microsoft Outlook on Windows based PCs and Mail App on Mac. The “To” address filed will be prefilled with the email id from “mailto:” attribute. In the Mail app on your Mac, make sure the Bcc (Blind carbon copy) field is shown in the message window. Open list of open apps on mac. If you don’t see the field, click the Header Fields button in the toolbar of the message window, then choose Bcc Address Field. Type your recipients’ addresses in the Bcc.

Add an email account

If you haven't already set up an email account in Mail, you might be prompted to add one when you open the app. If you're not prompted, or you just want to add another account, follow these steps:

  1. From the menu bar in Mail, choose Mail > Add Account.
  2. Select your email provider from the list, then click Continue.
  3. Some accounts, such as Google, might ask that you click Open Browser to complete authentication in your web browser.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter account details, such as your name, email address, and password. If you're not sure what information to enter, please contact your email provider for help.

Use the Inbox for each account

The Inbox gathers together the messages for every email account you added. If you added more than one account, you can click the disclosure triangle next to Inbox in the sidebar, then select a mailbox to see only the messages for that account.

  2. Select your account in the sidebar.
  3. Select the features you want to use with your account.
